DF POX AD, based on epoxy resin and quartz filler applied in a single layer, is an anti-slip resinus flooring. The DF POX AD is impermeable, easy to maintain and easy to disinfect, even with a very rough surface (the degree of roughness can be adjusted during application according to your needs). Once dry, the surface is free of holes and microporosity that can cause hygiene problems in floors.
Unlike multi-layer coatings where the non-slip effect is due to a dusting of sand on the surface, DF POX AD is non-slip in the mass. As the grains of sand are directly integrated into the mortar structure and not just held in place by a top coat, DF POX AD has very high wear resistance and is suitable for all types of traffic. DF POX AD is also highly resistant to alkalis, most acids and cleaning agents.
A variant of DF POX AD with the same technical characteristics, but with a smooth surface, is available for wall protection, for the gutters, or for tanks: DF POX MUR.
DF POX AD and DF POX MUR are composed of four parts, that are pre-dosed in our factory. DF POX AD and DF POX MUR have to be applied over a primer to improve adhesion between the subfloor and the resin flooring. These two resin flooring are only sold and layed by specialized applicators approved by our company.
