The tiles of the 500GK NG pressed range, made of vitrified full body stoneware, are composed of selected raw materials that allow to obtain a powder which is pressed under high pressure in steel molds, then fired at high temperature. This method of manufacture gives the tiles great dimensional stability.
500GK NG tiles contain on their surface sharp-edged corindon grains, which provide a remarkably non-slip surface even under the most difficult conditions (grease-covered floor).
Thanks to their high resistance to chemical products (acids, bases…), their mechanical resistance (impact resistance, rolling resistance, puncture resistance…), 500GK NG tiles are designed for the realization of industrial floor and wall coverings in highly stressed buildings. They are particularly suitable for production areas in the food industry (slaughterhouses, cutting rooms, tripe factories, minced steak factories, salting plants, ready-made meals, canning plants, fish shops).
The low water absorption of ceramic tiles also gives them a high resistance to stains, for easier floor maintenance. Despite their non-slip surfaces, 500 GK NG tiles are easily maintained with the use of an industrial cleaning protocol (scrubber or rotating brush).
