Range SICODUR pressed

Field of application

The tiles of the SICODUR range, made of vitrified full body stoneware, are composed of selected raw materials (including clay) to obtain a powder that is pressed under high pressure in steel molds, then fired at high temperature. This manufacturing process gives the tiles a high dimensional stability.

SICODUR tiles contain sharp-edged grains of silica carbide throughout the mass, giving them a remarkably non-slip surface even under the most difficult conditions (grease-covered floor). Tiles with anti-slip in the mass have a greater resistance to solicitations (traffic, pedestrian), as well as a greater maintenance of the level of anti-slip in time, compared to tiles whose anti-slip is obtained only by sprinkling anti-slip grains on the surface.

The low water absorption of ceramic tiles also gives them a high resistance to stains, for easier floor maintenance. SICODUR tiles can be easily cleaned with a scrubber or a rotating brush machine despite their non-slip surfaces.

To maximize the life of your tiles, we recommend the use of our complete range of antiacid mortars (Primers, adhesive mortar FB67 or FB30, grout mortar FB60 or FB30 or OS1500, expansion joint FB50…) specially designed to fulfill your needs.

The tiles of the SICODUR range are available in two sizes (150×150 or 200×200 mm) with an anti-slip surface (R13), in the colors grey mix, bahia or yellow (color according to size) :
